International Occupational Therapy

One of the things I love most about my job at RepuStaff is getting to hear about different types of allied healthcare jobs.  Recently I spoke to one of our Physical Therapists who works in the Indiana correctional system.  She travels to four different prisons and provides physical therapy services to inmates.  She told me about the types of injuries she treats and the types of people she meets.

Prior to working for RepuStaff I had no idea that prisons even used physical therapists!  Our therapist told me about how rewarding she finds this position and how much she enjoys her work.  I think this is a really interesting career for physical and occupational therapists, as well as healthcare workers of all kinds.
