State of Indiana Budget Passes

Thursday, July 2, 2009 by Toni Thompson
We had quite a bit of drama here in the State of Indiana over the past two weeks.  We were all watching to see if a new budget would be passed before midnight on June 30th.  If a new budget was not passed, it was going to mean the shutdown of all non-essential state services.
We know that there are a lot of physical and occupational therapists who work on State Of Indiana contracts and we were concerned about how that would affect some of the allied health professionals and facilities here in Indiana.
The good news is that the new budget was passed and there was no interruption of service.
